A gift for Valentine's Day

Here's a priceless artifact that hangs in the home of John C. Hinson, the great nephew of Harry and Bess Houdini. One of Bess's hobbies was embroidery, and this is a little something she made for her husband. Speaks for itself, I think.

Happy Valentine's Day to all Houdini lovers.

  1. Funny how Bess calls him "Houdini" rather than Harry and "his wife" as opposed to her name.

    1. Maybe she thought that in 100 years a world audience would be looking at and she wanted to be clear. :)

  2. I wonder if Houdini thought about this embroidery and felt guilty when he was rendezvousing with Charmian London.

    It's well done.
