It is postmarked Feb. 10, 1910 and is addressed to the last name of Duncan in New York City. There is a note to the man on the front and then it is signed H Houdini. Where is a good place to authenticate this post card?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4732721553418878547.post-14730976908039314042014-12-21T08:26:13.924-08:002014-12-21T08:26:13.924-08:00The paper looks very old, but the doodle and the s...The paper looks very old, but the doodle and the signature could have been faked. But supposing it wasn't, it doesn't look like something I would want in my collection. I would prefer an unsigned original 1st generation Houdini photo over this.Leo Hevianoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4732721553418878547.post-75335274015942672202014-12-21T08:05:29.940-08:002014-12-21T08:05:29.940-08:00I was surprised to see it cross $100 frankly.I was surprised to see it cross $100 frankly.John Coxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04391313393222271260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4732721553418878547.post-80901749513173688682014-12-21T05:46:19.477-08:002014-12-21T05:46:19.477-08:00I wouldn't touch this with your money.......I wouldn't touch this with your money.......Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4732721553418878547.post-59342601878376010132014-12-20T11:59:28.204-08:002014-12-20T11:59:28.204-08:00I'm also wondering what Houdini was doing with...I'm also wondering what Houdini was doing with locks and chains in 1923 when he had discarded this type of escape many years prior. Houdini still performed escapes from rope ties around this time as we know from that fiery escape of that wooden stake fire escape that almost roasted him.Leo Hevianoreply@blogger.com
