It seems to be an independent vaudeville house as the ad says Houdini is "Direct from Orpheum circuit."<br /><br />Looks like a Pantages was built there in 1924. I think it said one of HHs men offered the soldiers free tickets if they would play along and provided them a couple pairs of handcuffs.
