An evening of music, magic, and The Master Mystery at the Skirball

As part of their special programing for the Houdini: Art and Magic and Masters of Illusion exhibitions, the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles presents INTO THE NIGHT, a late-night event celebrating music and magic.

INTO THE NIGHT will be held this Friday, July 8, from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Acclaimed avant-garde rock trio Autolux will headline the evening, which also features a live set by indie-pop quartet Superhumanoids, KCRW DJ Anthony Valadez spinning his signature mix, strolling magicians performing sleight of hand and other dazzling close-up magic, and all-night loop screenings of Houdini's serial, The Master Mystery.

You can also enjoy after-dark access to the exhibitions Houdini: Art and Magic and Masters of Illusion: Jewish Magicians of the Golden Age, and a cash bar featuring special cocktails.
