Houdini miniseries on HISTORY November 27

HISTORY will repeat their two-part Houdini miniseries starring Adrien Brody and Kristen Connolly on Sunday, November 27 at 7:30 AM (part 1) and 9:30 AM (part 2).

The Houdini miniseries first aired in September 2014. The version that shows on HISTORY is the shortened U.S. cut. The full unedited international version is available on DVD and Blu-ray.

UPDATE: It looks like HISTORY has now dropped this from their schedule, so Houdini will NOT air on November 27.

    1. Please do NOT watch this. Do your self a favor and watch the "complete" 2 disk longer version as released in Europe. For many reasons it is much more satisfying and a better watch. Including the disclaimer at the beginning. Also several key parts were left ou of the US version.

    2. I agree that if you feel compelled to watch this, watch the longer version.

But I would recommend not watching this at all. Watch a good documentary, like The Magic of Houdini (which is on Netflix) if you want the story of Houdini. The more I revisit the Houdini miniseries, the more I dislike it. It's really an ugly, inaccurate, and irresponsible portrayal of Houdini.

Heck, watch the Tony Curtis movie before you watch this. At least there's joy and love of magic in that film.
