LINK: Decades after the 'final' seance, hundreds still hope to contact Harry Houdini
Here's a nice article by Brianna Morris-Grant at ABC Australia, which ran on October 30. It quotes me, so I'm returning the favor! Click the headline or the image below to read.

Houdini seance articles go back to the 1970s. I remember cutting out an article (now lost) about an October 31 seance where the sitters had lox and bagel on the table to lure Harry back. The article noted it was one of his favorite snacks. No he didn't show up to that one.
ReplyDeleteThey forgot the Chop Suey!
DeleteNever heard of HH eating lox and bagels. They should have put out a plate of goulash! (For real.)
DeleteDon’t forget Chicken Paprikash too! And the pound cake with cherries! 😊 - Abby Martin
DeleteBread pudding--not pound cake.
DeleteA lox bagel is a classic American Jewish dish, typically served for breakfast or brunch, that consists of a bagel topped with a generous smear of cream cheese and slices of lox (cured salmon).
DeleteI have definitely heard of that bagel kind and I’ve been wanting to try it! - Abby Martin
Delete(Also my bad, bread pudding… bread pudding?)
Bread… PUDDING?
