The next New York Magic Conference takes place on Saturday, June 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The focus will be close-up magic, and 100% of all registrations will be donated to the Houdini grave restoration fund. As we all know, the exedra is badly in need of repair. So this is a great way to help and learn magic from some of New York's most influential magicians. Below are details:

Wish I could be there. Those performers are donating their time to repair Houdini's exedra. Harry would have been pleased. He donated his time as well to good causes.
ReplyDeleteI agree wholeheartedly with you Leo. Houdini is one of our national treasures and he's still giving to us today in so many ways and through the magic of John Cox. We are blessed and the creators of the fund raising event did exactly what I have made public for a very long time. It's nice to have supporters that can make large donations. Of course! But when the tiers of support is low enough that people of all budgets can donate and be part of Houdini's ever-loved legacy, it becomes more than a fund raiser, it becomes a continuing legacy. Offering thoughtful gifts that will be treasured and for those on very strict budgets, even the digital gift is a gorgeous idea. So, I say "kudos to them," they've gotten the job done and we're all grateful and happy. As for Harry, he's watching us from afar and I'll be he's as delighted as he can be.
