Next stop, Appleton

We are now just days away from The Society of American Magicians annual convention in Appleton, Wisconsin, July 1-4, 2026. The convention will celebrate the centenary of Houdini's death in his adopted hometown and will have many Houdini-centric events, including a suspended straitjacket escape in Houdini Plaza, a Houdini family panel, a screening of The Grim Game, Houdini Walking Tours of the city, and free admission for attendees to the Houdini exhibit at the History Museum at the Castle. You can see the full schedule HERE.

Houdini Day (July 2) will conclude with a presentation by Mike Caveney and me. It's the last event of a long day, but I'm working to make it something extra special. If you are a Houdini fan, you won't want to miss it.

You're invited to return to where the magic began. Join The Society of American Magicians in Appleton, WI, Houdini's childhood home, for a once-in-a-century gathering to honor the world's most legendary magician. Celebrate Houdini's life, artistry, and enduring impact on the art of magic, 100 years after his passing.
