Here's one we all missed

The mighty Arthur Moses alerts me to a Houdini magazine cover that we all missed when it came out in July 2011. DAVID is a magazine aimed at the Las Vegas Jewish community. Of this particular issue, publisher Max Friedland says:

"This month (...) we focus on the arts, specifically stage magic and comic books. It was especially exciting for us at DAVID to discover that each of the aforementioned art disciplines' have Jewish roots. What connects them is the power of human imagination.
On our cover, Harry "Handcuff" Houdini's piercing blue eyes still, after all these years, mesmerize us. Covers are designed to scream, "Pick me up!" We spend hours tweaking all their elements to get them just right. It is important to our readers and our advertisers that we hit a home run every month."

I would say this is definitely one of those "home run" covers.

Finding a back issue of this might be a trick. However, if you just want to read the content, a digital edition is still available online here. You can even download the issue, but it appears you need to sign up with the hosting site to do that.

Thanks to Arthur Moses for sharing this find.
