Have a safe and Happy Halloween

We're just two days away from Halloween and the 100th anniversary of Houdini's death. Hopefully, everyone has a special event or séance to attend. There is certainly no shortage to choose from! I'll be traveling to New York to attend the 100-Year Séance event at 278, and I couldn't be more excited. Will Houdini join any of us? We'll see!

If you get a chance, come back here on Halloween and take a look at the cover art for my new book, Handcuff King: The Conquests of Harry Houdini, 1900–1909. I've not kept the cover a big secret. I've shown it at speaking events and have been offering a special cover-reveal postcard in my store. But the book is being printed in China as we speak, so I thought Halloween was the perfect day to share the cover and preorder date with everyone.

I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Halloween. Here's to the next 100 years!
