This video doesn't have anything to do with Houdini, but it is worth watching as we enter an era of AI-generated Houdini content. I think it's good to know what to look for and know when you are in the hands of a human or a bot. The use of the em dash alone was eye-opening for me. Enjoy.
And, of course, AI continues to get Houdini facts wrong. You can read an example of this in today's Patreon post.
When I see long meandering paragraphs, I know it's AI. AI videos are all over YouTube. That monotone voice is unmistakable, along with mispronounced words and names. You can't hide from it unless you turn off your phone and computer. Who's going to do that?
ReplyDelete*stands in the confessional booth* I did an AI chat of Houdini and stopped after half a year of doing it because it was getting boring. I did some pretty… interesting stuff with it. Eheh.
ReplyDeleteAI is very creepy to me to be honest and as an artist I despise the “art” made by it. - Abby Martin
As soon as I sense something is written by AI, I stop reading instantly (or click off the video). I don't want that soulless, mechanical voice seeping into my own writing. I have to ingest a few paragraphs of Silverman, stat!
ReplyDeleteExactly! And it's not hard to spot. Long, dull, paragraphs that border on nonsense. The artwork is hit or miss. When it's good it's good, and when it's bad it's horrid.
