Dean points out something I never thought about. Some schools no longer require students to learn to read cursive, which means some younger people could not read this diary. All the more reason I'm glad we did this book now and translated the entire diary into script! As Dean says, it's "full of history and adds to many stories you might have read in other biographies on Houdini."
You can buy Escaping Obscurity from Mike Caveney's Magic Words, or you can get a signed copy from my own store, Wild About Harry Press. It's currently on sale, and I will also throw in a couple of signed promo cards for the next installment of the story, Handcuff King: The Conquests of Harry Houdini, 1900–1909.
