Photos from David Haig’s MAGIC
Here is a collection of photos from David Haig’s Magic, which is currently playing at the Chichester Festival Theatre until May 16, 2026. The play features Haig as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Hadley Fraser as Houdini, and Jenna Augen as Bess.

Sick costume design! - Abby Martin
ReplyDeleteJust saw this last night. Overall a very good show. (Act 2 better than Act 1.) It does, for dramatic purposes one assumes, stray from being totally historically accurate, although it gets more right than wrong. I think it definitely gets right the overall vibe of Houdini's and Conan Doyle's friendship – which is the main focus of this play. The actor playing Bess is wonderful! She really captures how I picture Bess was in real life. So I would definitely recommend this one if it goes anywhere else.
