Blinn College Theatre Arts Program presents 'Houdini'

The talented students from the Theatre Arts Program at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas, will present Muriel Rukeyser's Houdini at the Dr. W.W. O’Donnell Performing Arts Center, October 6-9, 2022.

Sophomore Garrison Rutledge plays Houdini with Lilly Marrs as Bess. Other cast members are: Josiah Fernandez, Y’Lila Willis, Christopher Westerlund, Steve Torres, Maygen Meadows Jayden Peavy, and Aiden McAllister. Crew members are: Alyssa Hale, Samantha Nolen, Bianca O’Neal, Luke Parker, Alexandria Cuellar, Jaylon Kelley, Cedric Bernard, and Benedite Trecy.

"The kids put their hearts and souls into this," said Theatre Arts Professor Brad Nies, who is directing the production. "I think this play will appeal to young audiences, Houdini devotees, and ‘escape artists’ everywhere."
