Houdini's 278 now has an official website

The owners of Houdini's New York brownstone have launched an official website devoted to their famous residence called "278 Houdini House" (https://house.278.nyc).

The site has just updated with a post announcing shipping of their first wave of 278 souvenir bricks.

Looks like this is going to be a terrific resource, so bookmark and follow 278 Houdini House today!

    I like these folks.

  2. I like these people too. It's nice to know that the owners care about preserving the integrity of the house. And that we have a chance to own a small part of it is a bonus.

    1. We're so fortunate. 278 couldn't have better, more caring owners.

    1. No, the '29 seances were at 67 Payson Ave. where Bess moved after 278.

    2. Wasn't there a seance at 278 around 1974 that Gibson attended?

    3. There was. Rose Bonanno was open to seances and there were several. One apparently broadcast on the radio. Rose even said HH called her during one of them. Remember THIS POST.

    4. RRRRRRRriiiiiing!!!
      Rose: Hello?
Mystery caller: Do you know who this is?
      Rose: No
Mystery caller: I used to give you pencils and candy when you were a little girl. He, he.

    5. LOL, Leo! That makes me totally picture HH on 'This Is Your Life' and, even though it's way out of the timeline, how cool would that have been to see??

    6. Glad you enjoyed that Lisa! I can picture HH handing little Rose a treat while she was outside playing in the neighborhood. Nowadays giving children in your neighborhood treats is outlawed. HH might make that call on the "This Is Your Afterlife" show.

    7. Good point! Wonder if he'd actually been arrested if he'd stay put or escape every time, haha!
