My talks will run a half hour with Q&A and will not be slide presentations as I normally do. But thanks to the festival organizers, I will have some cool onstage visual aids, and I will share something I only recently discovered hiding in plain sight in a well-known Houdini spirit photograph. But you'll have to come to the festival to find out what that is!

John's talk on "Houdini vs. Spiritualists" was lightning fast (20 minutes with 10-15 minute Q&A), but was fascinating. I learned at least three new Houdini facts that afternoon, and look forward to another Houdini related lecture by Mr. Cox in the future.

DeleteYes, they gave me a half hour and wanted 10 mins for Q&A, so 20+10 was the plan. I can see why now. The Q&A was great. On my second talk I tightened things up and made a cut (probably one of the things you learned) and then didn't need to rush the end. It timed out beautifully and we had a great Q&A.
I really enjoyed it. I hadn't done an extended talk without slides, so this was new for me.
