No Escaping Houdini...TONIGHT

Just bumping this up as a reminder that the new documentary, No Escaping Houdini, will premiere tonight at 8 p.m. on New York's WNET Public Broadcasting station Thirteen. The documentary also will be shown at 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. Dec. 12 on Channel 13 and at 7 p.m. Dec. 10, 10 p.m. Dec. 16, 5:30 p.m. Dec. 19 and 4 a.m. Dec. 24 on WLIW21.

  1. Will this be on all PBS stations or just THIRTEEN out of NY?

  2. Don't know yet. Looks like it's on Thirteen exclusively on the 9th, but I expect it might make the circuit of PBS stations after. Hope so, at least.

  3. I hope it will show on PBS as I would love to see it. I was down at the Jewish Museums exhibit with Dorothy Dietrich when she did her strait jacket escape there. You can see video of her performance at my YouTube channel

  4. Thanks Alexanderia. Great to see Dorothy Dietrich still doing her thing. I have a lot of clippings in my scrapbook of her work in the early 80s. One day I need to get out to her Houdini Museum.

  5. Report from anyone who saw this?
