LINK: Houdini, My Father and Me

In my review of the Houdini miniseries, I certainly had some things to say about screenwriter Nicholas Meyer's work. So I thought it only fair to share Meyer's own thoughts on Houdini and his approach to the writing the miniseries. This is an article he wrote for the The Jewish Daily Forward late last month. Read by clicking the headline or link below.

"There is unsubstantiated speculation that he also toiled in the clandestine world of espionage on behalf of the United States and Great Britain. Like so much of his mythopoesis, the Italian expression se non è vero è ben trovato ("even if it is not true, it is well conceived") seems to apply."
- Nicholas Meyer
